IBE inspects columns, reactors, heat exchangers and pipelines using gamma radiation – on stream, without a shutdown and without opening the vessel. You learn how the internals behave hydraulically, what mechanical condition they are in, and where deposits or restrictions have formed.

Typical questions: why does the column no longer reach its expected separation efficiency? Where does the increased differential pressure come from? Does the vessel have to be opened during the next turnaround – or can that be settled beforehand?
